From Mac Interactive Architects comes "Stirling", an impressive architectural project with a unique shape, clad in hard timber. Respecting their clients' wishes- who "did not want a white box minimalist house, nor a house that would dictate the style under which they should live"- the team came up with a concept that combined diversity and originality ."The form of the house was driven almost entirely by the height scale and topography of the surrounding urban context and of course the Client's requirements.  Clad in Grey Bark, the house makes reference to the timber clad cottage that sat on the site previously."
