Large spaces seem to have an attraction to people who love entertaining with style. This particular multi-level 5,000 square foot apartment is the perfect place to combine a flourishing social life with the comforts of home. The owner and Martin Building Company worked together to design a personalized space that would replace the old warehouse. Located in San Francisco's South of Market district, the apartment found on My Modern Met draws the attention with exciting features like the basketball or the tree in the middle of the living room. A laser optic lit steel tube acts like the hallway, opening up the space to the double height living area. The large, bright space was obtained by keeping the many skylights intact, especially a 16 x 20 foot retractable centre skylight that floods the space with natural light. Exposed wood beams enlighten the space and create a fascinating pattern in the bright space. The large entertaining area was designed to encompass as much fun items as possible and many areas for relaxation. Many people would love to live in a place like this, but unfortunately, the loft was recently sold for $3.32 million. Lucky inhabitant, right?
