Decorating with maps isn't a new thing, but lately it seems like I have been seeing a lot more of this idea. One of the best things about maps is that they come in almost every size, shape, and color you can imagine – which makes them great options for art and design. There's just something so charming about maps – especially vintage ones.  I really like the idea of choosing a map with special meaning, such as a map of your home town or a favorite family vacation spot. There are so many different ways to incorporate this idea into your home, including framing maps as art, decoupaging a piece of furniture, using globes to accessorize an office area, or, for the full effect, wallpapering with it. If you have any old maps that are simply collecting dust, put them to good use! Check out these creative interpretations for some inspiration!
