Located in Beckenham, South London, United Kingdom, this house has been the home of Budi and Andrew for 7 years. They live here with their two cats and, over the years, they have gathered lots of treasures that make the house unique. The 1.100 square feet residence has a stylish interior and a very beautiful garden with influences from all over the world.
The house is filled with accessories and furniture that the two have gathered on their travels. Now they are all part of this beautiful home and they bring a piece of the culture with them. The eclectic mix is original and unique. The couple bought this three=bedroom house seven years ago. They both knew this was the one and decided to personalize it and make it their own. The house first had to be remodeled. It got new floors, new wires, new plastering and some of the walls were knocked down.
After the basic changes have been made, it was time to refurnish the house. The couple chose to create a combination of styles that represents them and tells their story. They included Indonesian furniture, lots of antique pieces along with items they brought with them from their travels. They also used some local pieces. The interior is very beautiful but the garden is also impressive. Here, the couple created a real oasis of freshness and beauty. They added a gazebo, sculptures, mirrors and lots of beautiful plants.
