Matali Crasset, a French designer uses color to capture the hues of the natural surroundings such as the blues of the sky's, turquoise from the Mediterranean local landscape, and other natural colors such as apricots, redwoods and dunes. According to Crasset, "color should not be scary, because color is life." ( Frame mag. july/august 2011 interview by Anna Sansom.)
Color is a major part of the design process, considered a valuable tool to create a warm and generous space.
